Internal Agent Overview
Webmetrics Internal Agent is a server-side application that enables enterprises to monitor the uptime and performance of websites and applications from within their internal networks. When used in conjunction with Webmetrics external performance monitoring services, which test website and application performance externally from our GlobalWatch Network, companies can capture a holistic view of application uptime and performance from both the internal- and global-user perspectives.
Webmetrics Internal Agent hosts and executes our proven suite of performance measurement services to monitor today’s most complex web applications from the intranet, extranet or VPN. The Internal Agent technology delivers the power and simplicity of SaaS (software as a service) with reporting and management executed from Webmetrics’ portal. Delivered as a VMWare image, the Internal Agent is lightweight and can be installed on virtually any computer.
