The new Dashboard Quickbar is a convenient way to quickly set maintenance windows across multiple services providing the granularity to disable monitoring or alerting. This functionality also maximizes the Dashboard's viewable area providing accounts with many services maximum usability. Log entries can also be removed from SLA calculation if maintenance had not been set. To do this, select the log samples and click “Filter Selected Entries from Report”. This will recalculate the performance metrics and graphs.

Enhanced! Simultaneous Monitoring

Choose your monitoring method - sequential or simultaneous for a larger number of samples - with the flexible Webmetrics GlobalWatch monitoring platform. Webmetrics' simultaneous monitoring feature has recently been enhanced. It is a highly accurate, premium service for the most demanding customers. Agents from different locations can be selected to run at the exact same time, allowing you to compare real-time monitoring data from various cities that are crucial to your business*.

NEW! Additional Statistics Table

New helpful analytical statistics are now available, in a simple table format, for your Site Monitor and Application Monitor services. The statistics are based on samples taken during the entire selected date range and reflect the following:

  • Median – the middle load time value where half of the samples are smaller than this value and half are greater
  • Avg – Average – the sample load time that represents the sum of the load time of all the samples divided by the total number of samples
  • Std Dev – Standard Deviation - measure of the variation from the mean sample time. A lower number indicates consistent performance, while a higher one indicates variable performance across samples.
  • Min – Minimum - smallest sample load time
  • 90% - 90% of all samples performed at or better than the indicated sample load time
  • 95% - 95% of all samples performed at or better than the indicated sample load time
  • 99% - 99% of all samples performed at or better than the indicated sample load time
  • Max – Maximum - largest sample load time

The new table can be generated in your graphs and reports, as follows:

  • Site Monitor: Select service > Graphing tab > Select Load Time by Period > Check box for “Show Additional Statistics”
  • Application Monitor: Select service > Graphing tab > Transaction Step Averages > Check box for “Show Additional Statistics”

NEW! Dashboard Quickbar

Thanks to a great suggestion from our customer roundtable, you now have a handy “quickbar” on your monitoring dashboard. This convenient bar allows you to “snooze” your monitoring and/or alerting for a short period of time. In addition, it allows you to turn service on or off and add new services.
